Flyer I designed for our feminist theory class event - being held tomorrow during lecture time. My professor amazingly loves it & potentially wants to see it on a t-shirt in the future.

It’s not about the money.
It’s not about the number of “likes” I receive.
It’s not about the feedback I receive.
It’s about sharing my eyes. Sharing my ART, with as many people as I possibly can.
It’s about the mere enjoyment I get from creating my work.
It’s about the heart I put into it.
The love I have for it.<3
It’s about the thrill I get by helping others with & through my work, in any possible way.
I picked up my first camera when I was 6. Took my first photograph with a Polaroid when I was 8. Owned my first camera when I was 11, my first digital camera when I was 13 where I began my deep interest for Photography.
It’s one thing to “take” a photo and capture something. To capture the “moment” It’s something entirely different to “create” photos - & that’s what I do. As if it were my canvas. It’s no different to me.
& I believe that is what has set me apart since day one. Even when college professors got on my case about technicality & so on. I shrugged them off, & kept going. & turned my back on “studying” Photography.
I’ve grown so much as a photographer. In so many different ways. & I’ll be darned if I’m going to ever let anyone stop me from doing what I do best.<3
I have to be honest, this page, & promoting my work has helped my art reach farther than I could have imagined it would, at this point & time. I’m terribly excited to see what happens next.
But it all goes much deeper, I’m not in this for the business aspect of it, so much as the Art aspect. Art is something that is part of me. And it will be until the day I die. I live, eat, sleep, & breathe art. Sometimes art being MY world isn’t enough, I have to share it. I can’t stress that. Whenever I happen to leave this world, someone be sure that my camera is with me, & my paintbrushes. With that, I shall be set. :)
